District 10 recently released its proposed football region alignment for the upcoming 2012-2014 cycle.
Youngsville, fresh off a perfect 10-0 regular season, and Eisenhower remain in the Class A Region 2. Many of the schools region opposition remains the same with the exception of Saegertown who has bumped up to Class AA's Region 3.
In addition to the Eagles and Knights, Region 2 also includes Cambridge Springs, Cochranton, Iroquois, Mercyhurst Prep, Union City and Maplewood.
The Warren Dragons will compete in the seven-team Class AAA Region 5. Unlike the Eagles and Knights, Warren's region schedule will have a much different look in 2012.
While the classification (AAA) remains the same, the Dragons' region competition will now include Slippery Rock, Oil City, Franklin, DuBois, Meadville and Bradford. Only Bradford was in Warren's region for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
Teams Warren played region games with in 2010 and 2011 and will not play region games with in 2012 and 2013 include Central Tech, Erie East, Fort LeBoeuf, Strong Vincent and Cathedral Prep.
