Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to the area of Rt. 62 and Commons Drive at 8:45 p.m. Friday following reports of a fight. Police said a known 19-year-old female was punched in the face causing bodily injury by a known 13-year-old boy. Police have cited the boy with harassment through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.

Bad checks. Conewango Township police charged William J. Jones, 105 N. South St., Warren, on Sunday with one count of summary bad checks. Police said Jones passed a check on Friday in the amount of $58.74 at Blue Ribbon Rentals, North Warren, knowing he did not have enough money in his account.

Bad checks. Conewango Township police charged William Smith, 421 1/2 Conewango Ave., with one count of misdemeanor bad checks. Police said Smith passed a check in the amount of $341 on Sept. 28, 2011 at Blue Ribbon Rentals knowing that he did not have the money in his account.

Crash. Conewango Township police were contacted by a township road crew member reporting that a vehicle was off the side of the road in a ditch and no one was present. Officers arrived at 2475 Liberty St. at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 14 and found that the vehicle had gone off the roadway on a left-hand curve into a ditch, struck a driveway, became airborne and landed in the ditch again rendering it disabled. While attempting to contact the owner of the vehicle, police were called to another crash on Follett Run Road. Police learned that Kristen Fiscus, 19, Warren, now a passenger in the second crash, was the driver of the crash on Liberty Street. Fiscus was later cited for driving too fast for conditions and leaving the scene of the crash on Liberty Street.

Crash. Conewango Township police responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Follett Run Road at 7:50 a.m. Jan. 14. Police said a known 16-year-old boy, reported to be the driver, stated that he lost control of the vehicle on a curve, struck the ditch on the opposite side of the roadway and rolled over. Police said the driver sustained several minor lacerations and refused treatment after his parents arrived. Two passengers, including Kristen Fiscus and a 15-year-old girl, were taken to Warren General Hospital for injuries. Two other female minors, also passengers, were released to parents at the scene of the rollover. Police said the male driver was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Starbrick volunteer firefighters, fire police and Emergycare assisted at the scene.

Eldred Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a motor vehicle accident at 12:10 p.m. Friday on Mickle Hill Road, west of Sanford Road. Police said Kurt Nichols, 26, Connellsville, was operating his 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer westbound on Mickle Hill Road when he dropped off the right berm, left the roadway and struck a tree causing major damage to the vehicle. Nichols was uninjured; police have cited him with driving at an unsafe speed.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 6, just west of Dutchman Run Road, at 8:05 a.m. Friday. Police said Gretchen L. Greathouse, 30, Warren, was operating her 2005 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Rt. 6 negotiating a right curve when she lost control on the snow-covered road. police said the Jeep left the roadway and hit a dirt embankment traveling 30 feet alongside Rt. 6 and came to rest in a ditch facing south. Greathouse suffered injury of unknown severity and was transported to Warren General Hospital. Police have charged Greathouse with traveling at an unsafe speed. Clarendon volunteer firefighters assisted on scene.

Southwest Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police responded to 1345 Colorado Rd. where Patrick Mitchell, Tennessee, reported an incident of burglary. Police said sbetween Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 12:15 p.m. someone forcibly gained entry into Mitchell's vacant residence through a side door. It is unknown if anything was taken. The intruder then fled the scene westbound on foot prior to getting into an unknown vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

McKean County

Indecent assault/ harassment. Kane-based state police reported an incident of indecent assault and harassment that occurred on Rt. 59 west of Smethport at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 18 in a motor vehicle while in motion. Police said Terry Mead, 54, Warren, subjected Elizabeth Austin, 23, Eldred, to unwanted indecent contact while they were inside a motor vehicle traveling on Rt. 59.
