GIRLS HOOPS: WCCS girls fall at home

The Lady Lions dropped to 2-4 on the season after a 60-28 loss to Erie First Christian on Tuesday.

"Erie First is a very tough team and they are very well coached," said WCCS coach Rae Parmeter. "We made some mistakes and turnovers that hurt us, but the girls are continuing to work hard and make some nice strides."

Alyssa Kerr had another impressive double-double performance with 15 points and 13 rebounds. She added six blocks for good measure. Rachel Wilkins added six points and Dymphee Zortman scored five points and had five steals. Christina Girard only scored two points, but she had a nice game with seven blocked shots and five boards.
