Placewinners
Several Warren County gymnasts competed for the Lakewood Starz gymnastics team during last weekend’s “You Known When You’re A Gymnast When...” meet hosted by the Warren County YMCA. The Warren at Titusville wrestling match scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed. The match will now be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Titusville Area High School.

Canceled
Due to inclement weather, the Youngsville Eagles wrestling team will not attend Saturday's Major Tom Carr Wrestling Tournament at Central Tech High School. As of Friday night, the tournament was going on as scheduled.
Time change
The Warren at Fairview girls basketball game scheduled for Saturday, January 21, will now be played at 1 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. Junior varsity will play first with varsity to follow.
Jr. high hoops
Sheffield A was edged by Ridgway, 25-24, on Monday. For Sheffield, Jake Johnson led with 12 points, Adam Higby added six, Dan Pierson three, Dan Rulander two, and Jim Vile one.
Sheffield B fell, 43-18. For Sheffield, Drew Higby and Cameron Retterer had four points each, Tanner Leichtenberger two, Kyle Corbin two, Austin Simmer two, Tyler Hanson two, and Roger Dunham two.
On Thursday, Sheffield A beat Eisenhower Blue, 43-28. For Sheffield, Johnson led with 11 points, Logan Connolly had 10 points, Adam Higby seven, Colton Thompson five, Dan Pierson four, Vile two, Corbin two, and Hanson two. For Ike Blue, Casey Vincent led with 13 points, Grant Venman had seven points, and Jake Harvey and Owen Nizzi four each.
Ike Gold beat Sheffield B, 27-24. For Sheffield, Simmer had six points, Drew Higby five, Rulander and Retterer four each, Dunham three, and Cody Benjamin two. For Eisenhower in the win, Nizzi had six points, Nash Marcum four, Quintin Roberts two, Thomas Warren six, and Harvey nine.
Special Olympics
Warren County Special Olympics Basketball team practice is from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Holy Redeemer Center on Russell St. Skills practice will follow there from 10 to 11 a.m.
Special Olympics Basketball practices will continue on Saturdays until March 3.
