The more things change, the more they stay the same.
The PIAA recently released its new fall sports classifications for the 2012-14 cycle and all Warren County District 10 fall sports clubs remain in the same classifications they held during the 2010-12 cycle.
The closest to changing classifications was the Warren Dragons football team. The Dragons competed at the Class AAA level during 2010-12 and will do so again in 2012-14 - by the slimmest of margins.
The Dragons listed 298 male students enrolled at Warren Area High School, according to piaa.org. That number is one less than the current cutoff for Class AA - 299. However, the PIAA takes into account the school's current co-op agreement with the Warren County Christian School in regards to football.
At this time, that adds an additional three students to Warren's "official" enrollment, leaving them with a total of 301 eligible males. That is two students above the Class AA cutoff, meaning Warren will again compete in Class AAA when the next football season comes around.
Two teams that will change classification and may now find themselves in a region alongside Warren are General McLane and Strong Vincent. McLane spent the 2010-12 cycle as a Class AA football school while Vincent was classified at the Class AAAA level.

All other county fall sports teams competing in District 10 will retain their same classifications for the new cycle.
New District 10 regions are to be approved in February.
