Warren bounced back on Thursday with a Region 3 sweep of Strong Vincent at the Warren County YMCA.
"They all swam well," said Warren assistant coach Jill Bunce. "We had a lot of kids in different events and everybody stepped up to the plate. Our freshmen are continuing to look strong and promising. Sammy Sherrard, for example, swam the backstroke and did fantastic; it was his first time swimming. Alexis Vavala swam well in the fly (medley relay portion), and Elin Smith in the 200 IM, and so on."
Warren's boys improved to 4-3 overall with a 107-59 win. The Lady Dragons are 3-4 after a 116-60 win.

First-place finishers for Warren's girls include Elin Smith in the 200-meter individual medley (IM), Valerie Latimer in the 50 free, Allie Sedon in diving, Mandy Fehlman in the 100 butterfly, Ellis Beardsley in the 100 free, Eifa Sando in the 100 back, Anna Falvo in the 100 breast, and all three relays.
"Two relays qualified for districts," said Bunce. "When we didn't get firsts, we got some seconds and thirds."
For the boys, Logan Gearhart won the 200 free and 100 back, Brad Walters the 200 IM and 100 fly, Cameron Daniels the 50 free and 100 free, Wyatt Pierson 400 free, Bennett Steber 100 breast, and two of three relays.
