Indoor soccer

Warren-1 defeated Warren-2, 7-1, recently in the Lakewood Family YMCA Indoor Soccer League girls varsity division.

Warren-1 got two goals each from Kaitlyn Levesque, Reid Yarzabek and Miranda Young, and one goal from Katie Ressler.

Snowball softball champs
The Brew Crew won the Warren County YMCA’s Snowball Softball Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 31, at Betts Park. Team members, from left, in front, include Dave Cressley, Glenn Morse, and Matt Leonard; second row, Tory Fry, Kyle Salerno, Aaron Houghton, Herb Proctor, Rob Glover, and Courtney Leonard, and; third row, Tim Brown, Jake Wolfe, Zack Sobkowski, Dave Leonard, Cheryl Leonard, and Melissa Clark.

Assists were recorded by Emily Ashbaugh, Lauren Butina, Levesque, Kristie Reynolds, Paige Rimer, Taylor Stanz and Yarzabek. Amanda Pinkerton was the goalkeeper.

Warren-2's lone goal was scored by Kaitlin Ishman. Ishman and Megan Butina split time in goal for Warren-2.

Schedule change

The varsity boys basketball make-up contest between Eisenhower and Maplewood has been rescheduled. The game will be made up at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2, at Eisenhower High School. The game had originally been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1.
