Freshmen hoops
The Warren Dragons freshmen boys basketball team earned a 54-32 victory over Oil City Tuesday at Oil City High School. Warren (5-2) was paced by the 13 points of Matt Hultquist and Joseph Bell added 11 points.
Warren travels to Central Tech on Thursday. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
AAU hoops
There will be tryouts for the Jamestown Elite Boys AAU basketball program from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15. This tryout is for boys currently in grades three to 12. All players must have a parent present to fill out and sign registration papers. Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Jefferson Middle School, 195 Martin Road, Jamestown, N.Y.
