Corry-based state police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 957, 820 ft. east of Rt. 553, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Police said Max R. Bruce, 21, Kent, Oh., was traveling with Jessika L. Morton, 18, Columbus, and a 2 yr old juvenile from Jamestown, operating a '95 Honda CMC. The Honda was traveling west bound on Rt. 957 and failed to negotiate a curve. As a result the vehicle went off the north berm of the roadway and struck a ditch. The vehicle became airborn for a short distance and landed in the adjacent field coming to rest in a ditch. Columbus VFD and Corry ambulance assisted on scene, Kent and Morton refused treatment for minor injuries. The juvenile was taken to Corry Hospital for observation. The Honda suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Police have charged Kent for failure to comply with roadways laned for traffic.
