Outreach Dinner
The Outreach dinner at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Youngsville will be Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. The community dinner this month will be served by the Youngsville Lady Eagles basketball team and basketball boosters to raise funds for their basketball program. The menu will be spaghetti, served with a salad, bread and a dessert. Donations appreciated.
Basketball Clinic
There will be a basketball clinic for any Youngsville area first or second grader who would like to learn the fundamentals and skills of basketball. This clinic will begin in February and the cost is $10 per child. Boys and girls can register for this clinic. Registration is open until Jan. 13,. Wrestling Novice
Tournament
The 2012 Youngsville Wrestling Novice Tournament will be the 10th Annual. It will be held on Sat. Jan. 14, 2012 at Youngsville High School, limited to the first 225 entries.
Age eligible are up to 12 years old day of tournament (Novice wrestlers only). ($20 walk ins). Club responsible for paying called in roster's whether wrestler shows or not, no refunds for any reason. Sled Riding Party
Community Sled Riding Party on the Pool Hill, Sun., Jan. 8th from 1-4 p.m. Free hot dogs and hot chocolate. Lots of door prizes. Come and have some fun on the "Hill"! Sponsored by the Youngsville Rec. Commission. Makeup date is scheduled for Jan 15th, same time.
