Ted and Mary Ann Ludwig Kirsch celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 27.
They were married by the Rev. Fr. Joel Lieb, Ted's first cousin, on Dec. 27, 1961, at St. Nicholas Church in Nicktown, Pa. Ted's brother, Norm, was best man, and Mary Ann's sister, Monica, was maid of honor.
Ted is retired from the Forest Service as a land surveyor, and Mary Ann retired from St. Joseph School as a school secretary.

They are the parents of six children: Shawn (Gail), Russell; Matthew (Donna), Sheffield; Janine, Duncansville, PA; Jeffrey (Kris), Boise, Idaho; Joelle, Clarendon & Christopher, Clarendon. They also have four grandchildren, Kyle and Cailin, Duncansville, and Tyler and Kooper of Boise.
