Grant and Karen Nelson of Russell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov.19, 2011, at Russell Fire Hall at an open house hosted by thier children.
The former Karen Jackson and Grant Nelson were united in marriage Nov. 19, 1961, in Warren.
Grant is retired from Rexnord, and Karen is a homemaker.
