Miss Alyssa N. Nordin and Mr. Anthony J. Geras announce their engagement to be wed Dec. 8, 2012.
Miss Nordin is a 2006 graduate of Southington High School, Southington, Conn., and is currently attending Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, N.Y. She will graduate in May with a degree in early childhood education. Miss Nordin is currently employed by Build-A-Bear.
Miss Nordin is the daughter of Michael and Patricia Nordin, Hazel Hurst, Pa. She is the granddaughter of Eugene and Pat Henderson, also of Hazel Hurst, and Bill and Joy Nordin of Warren. Mr. Geras is the son of Phil and Susan Geras of Montgomery, N.Y. He is a 2006 graduate of Valley Central High School, Montgomery, N.Y. Mr. Geras is a 2010 graduate of The College of Saint Rose, Albany, N.Y., with a degree in English studies. He is currently employed by the UPS Store.
