The following is a list of upcoming local entertainment events. The Times Observer welcomes additions to the list that are of community interest. Club meetings and closed gatherings are not included. To add an event, call features editor Diana Paddock in the newsroom at 723-8200 by noon Monday.

Dec. 15: Warren Concert Association presents "Natalie MacMaster," electrifying fiddler, Struthers Library Theatre, Warren, 7:30 p.m. (779-1514).

Dec. 17: Broadway Series, "Away in the Basement, A Church Basement Ladies Chirstmas," Library Theatre, 8 p.m. (723-7231.

Dec. 23: Warren County School District, winter break begins, no school.

Dec. 23: Warren County Historical Society will hold special hours for the holiday season. Refreshments and discounted books, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Dec. 29: Game Night for teens/tweens (ages 10-18). Students join other gaming enthusiasts in the Slater Room in the Warren Public Library to use the library's laptops, Nintendo Wii, GameCube, Guitar Hero and various other games from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Jan. 3: Warren County School District, winter break ends, school resumes.

Jan. 16: Warren County School District, Professional Development Day, no school for students.

Jan. 20-22:?Jim Lobdell Memorial Sled Dog Races and Winterfest, Chapman State Park. All events and activities free and open to the public. 723-0250.

Jan. 21: "Snow & Grow" garden classes sponsored by Penn State Master Gardeners of Warren County, Slater Room, Warren Public Library, doors open, 10:30 a.m.; presentations, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; brown bag lunch (563-9388, rav16@psu.edu).

Jan. 26 and 27: Warren County School District, Professional Development Days, no school for students.

Feb. 2-4: Warren County School District Jr. All-County Musical, "Mulan," Library Theatre.

Feb. 4: Eagle Watch Day, observation of American Bald Eagles and informative restoration programs, Kinzua Dam, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 726-0661

Feb. 6: Warren County School District, Energy Day, no school.

Feb. 11: "Women Are Wonderful," Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, Second Ave., Warren, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., (call 723-6350 to register).

Feb. 14: Warren Concert Association presents "Chamber Orchestra Kremlin," Russia's finest young string players, Struthers Library Theatre, Warren, 7:30 p.m. (779-1514).

Feb. 20: Warren County School District, Professional Development Day, no school for students.

Feb. 23- 26: Warren Players presents "A?Midsummer Night's Dream," 8 p.m. Feb. 23-25 and 2 p.m. on Feb. 6, Library Theatre (723-7231).

March 3: Warren Concert Association presents "Celtic Nights: Journey of Hope," featuring the finest voices of the Celtic world with expert dancing and musicianship, Struthers Library Theatre, Warren, 7:30 p.m. (779-1514).

March 9: Warren County School District, Professional Development Day, half day for students.

March 11: Warren Civic Orchestra concert, 4 pm, Warren Area High School. Tickets available at door.

April 2-5: Warren County School District, Energy Days, no school.

April 5-7: Praise Fellowship Passion Play, Library Theatre, Warren.

April 6 and 9: Warren County School District, spring break, no school.

April 13: ARTE and Youth Connection present "I've Got the Music in Me," Library Theatre, 7 p.m. (723-7231).
