TIONESTA - Sheffield shook off a tough outing against Warren Saturday and rebounded with a 72-30 romp of West Forest.
The Wolverines managed 17 steals and got the transition game going early and often on Monday.
"Mark (Sprandle) and Nick (Bonavita) did an excellent job out front for us tonight," said Sheffield coach Todd Fitch. "Mark ended up with six assists and Nick added another four. It was just a super all-around team effort tonight."
Sprandle's huge night showed in the boxscore with 24 total points, leading all scorers. Bonavita added 11 points, George Fitch scored nine markers and Kalil Slaughter had eight.
The Wolverines also won the junior varsity contest, 57-43. Brandon Kipp finished with 12 points.
Sheffield (2-1) is in action Wednesday, hosting Kane.
