Allison Atwood and Michael Madigan were married Sept. 3, 2011, at St. Paul's Church in Butler. The bride's parents are Herman and Paula Atwood of Warren. The groom's parents are James and Beverly Madigan of Butler.
Rachael Confer was maid of honor, and several of the bride's friends and the groom's sister-in-law were bridesmaids. The groom's two brothers were best men, and several of the groom's friends and the bride's brother, Chad Atwood, were groomsmen. The groom's nephew was ringbearer.
A reception was held at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia.

The bride graduated from Warren Area High School, Grove City College and Vanderbilt University and is a post-doctoral fellow at UPMC. The groom graduated from Butler High School, University of Notre Dame and Vanderbilt University Medical School and is a surgical resident at UPMC.
Following a honeymoon cruise in the Mediterranean, they reside in Pittsburgh.
