Megan Stearns and Kyle Jones were married on Aug. 20, 2011, at Cable Hollow Church, Russell. Jon Meyer performed the ceremony. Dan Burford provided music.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Lori Stearns of Russell. The groom is the son of David and Christine Jones of Pittsfield.
The bride, a 2005 graduate of Eisenhower High School and a 2009 graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania, is currently employed by the Research Foundation of New York while pursuing a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Her husband, a 2006 graduate of Youngsville High School and a 2010 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, is currently obtaining a master's degree in geology at the University at Buffalo, SUNY.
