Christmas Dinner

St. Francis Episcopal Church will have a Christmas dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The menu will be ham loaf, parsley Christmas potatoes, vegetable, Jell-o, and pie. This is a free dinner for the community, donations are appreciated.

Take-outs are available after 5:45.

Gift Wrapping at YHS

Youngsville Girls Basketball Boosters will be holding a gift wrapping and bake sale at the Youngsville High School on Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wrapping is by donations, no gift wrapping job is too big or small.

Gun Safe Raffle

The Youngsville Competition Cheerleaders are selling $5 raffle tickets for a 22-gun capacity Liberty Gun Safe with an electronic lock. Tickets can be purchased from any cheer parent, Watson's Sport Shop or Liberty Safe Shop in town.

The drawing will be held on Dec. 21.

Santa in Youngsville

Santa will be at the ROY store, next to the Allegheny Artistry on Dec. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. Bring your children and your camera for a picture with Santa.

Each child will receive a candy cane from Santa and one of Helga Laibacher's hand-made Christmas stars for their Christmas tree. There will be a free drawing for a 'Santa Container' of sweet treats, with the winner being announced that evening. ROY will be providing some low-cost resale items to benefit ROY projects.

In conjunction with the ROY activities, the Gallery/Co-Op is also having a Christmas Open House from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Allegheny Artistry Gallery will provide snacks, punch, and some crafty demonstrations. Bob Holt will provide music. He will play the guitar and sing. It will be a good opportunity for visitors to sing along. While browsing and shopping, you may sign up to win a $25 gift card for Applebee's; the drawing is Dec. 22.

ROY and the Hometown Christmas Coloring Contest committeeannounce the following winners. All children received a first-, second- or third-place ribbon and first-place winners received $5 in cash. Winning pictures are on display at TOPS market.

Helping the

Humane Society

On Saturday, Nov. 12 Youngsville area collected goods for the Warren County Humane Society. Pork and BSA Troop 22 thank all that helped with the project and for their contributions of supplies.
