William and Julie Rose of Alexandria, Kentucky, and John and Lynn Allen of Sugar Grove are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Alison Christine Rose and Grant Carl Allen of Stamford, Connecticut.
Alison is a 2004 graduate of Youngsville High School, a 2008 graduate of Otterbein University, Ohio, with a bachelor of science degree in biology and secondary education, and a 2011 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, Ind., with a master of education degree. She is an education teacher at Scofield Middle School, Stamford, Conn.; she taught the past three years at Doss High School in, Louisville, Ky.
Grant is a 2004 graduate of Eisenhower High School, a 2008 graduate of Dartmouth College, N.H., with a bachelor of arts degree in government and history, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisville, Ky., with a master's degree in public administration. He is a client service manager at Kantar Retail in, Wilton, Conn.
