Scotch Hill Church, Cook Forest, Pa., was the setting for the recent marriage of Robin L. McKenzie and John F. Carr on Sept. 24, 2011. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Mark Hurst.
The couple was attended by their children, Hayden Carr and Lacy and Cody Bayer. A dinner for the families was held at the Gateway Lodge, Cook Forest, following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sally and Jack Acklin of Warren and the late Rick McKenzie Sr., Kane. She is a 1985 graduate of Kane Area High School and is employed by Plaza Dental Associates of Erie. The groom is the son of Fern and John Carr of Erie. He is a 1984 graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School, Waterford, Pa., and a 1986 graduate of Alliance College, Cambridge Spring, Pa. He is employed by Port Erie Plastics in Harbor Creek, Pa.
