EMHS Pie Fun
EMHS students in grades 6-8 collected box tops for about six weeks for the fall box tops contest. Students brought in over 4,500 box tops all together. The winning advisories were Mrs. Richardson’s advisory with 695 box tops and second place Mr. Smith’s advisory with 595 box tops. As a result, Eric Leamon, EMHS vice principal, received two cream pies in his face from a student from each winning advisory. The pie throwers were Hunter McNutt and David Spencer.

The New York Southern Tier Porcelain Artists have a display of hand-painted porcelain china on display in the Sugar Grove Library's foyer.
All the pieces are painted by the members of the local club, which is affiliated with the World Organization of China Painters or WOCP. There are many chapters of the WOCP all over the US and many foreign countries as well. There is a museum dedicated to the art form in Oklahoma City.
Members of the local chapter reside in Chautauqua County, N.Y., and in Warren County. Come and see what can be done to turn a piece of plain white china into a beautiful family heirloom.
