Bad checks/ theft by deception. Warren city police filed a criminal complaint Friday charging Steven M. Klark, 407 Market St., with bad checks and theft by deception. Police said Klark issued a check Oct. 16 to Chido's Ferro Cucina, 1413 PA Ave. W., that was returned marked account closed. Total restitution due is $55.59.

Theft by unlawful taking/ receiving stolen property. Warren city police filed a criminal complaint Friday charging Heather J. Tremblay, 1436 Dutch Hill Rd., with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Police said Tremblay did take a gray Samsung cell phone belonging to the Warren-Forest EOC at 2:49 p.m. Thursday from the Faith Inn, 225 PA Ave. W., without having permission to do so.
