The following is a list of upcoming local entertainment events. The Times Observer welcomes additions to the list that are of community interest. Club meetings and closed gatherings are not included. To add an event, call features editor Diana Paddock in the newsroom at 723-8200 by noon Monday.

Every Monday through Dec. 5: Toddler Time, Mondays, 10:30 a.m. in Warren Public Library Children's Department. Stories, songs, crafts, creative play.

Through Dec. 9: "Embracing Pennsylvania," works by Julie Mader, Wetmore Gallery, Warren Public Library, regular library hours.

Nov. 3: Gannon University Open House, recruiting for master of education in curriculum and instruction, cohort (begin fall 2012)s, Hi-Ed, 6-7:30 p.m. (723-3222).

Nov. 3: WCCBI Awards Gala, Library Theatre.

Nov. 5: Christmas with Betsy and Friends Puppet Show, 11 a.m., Warren Public Library Slater Room. Children will watch a holiday puppet show then create their own puppet. Preregistration mandatory, seating limited. Register in the Children's Department or call 723-4650 and leave message for children's librarian.

Nov. 5: Benefit for Aaron Fileger, pig roast at 6?Shooters, Tiona, 4 p.m.-midnight; music by "The First Thirds," 8 p.m.-midnight; 50-50, Chinese auction.

Nov. 5: Trash & Treasure Sale, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and (homemade) soup and dessert lunch, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., First Church of God, 1111 Madison Ave., Warren.

Nov. 5: Turkey Party sponsored by Warren County Snowmobile Club, at Sugar Grove Amvets, 7 p.m.

Nov. 8: Election Day Spaghetti Dinner sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Warren, Warren Area High School cafeteria, 5-7 p.m.

Nov. 9: Making Vinegars class with Penn State Master Gardeners, Allegheny Community Greenhouse, Warren State Hospital grounds, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (723-7849).

Nov. 9: Wilkes University Open House, recruiting for master of education development and strategies, cohort, Hi-Ed, North Warren, 3-4:30 p.m. (723-3222).

Nov. 10: Chase Putnam presents Warren County history, "Warren in Pictures," main courtroom of the Warren County Courthouse, 7 p.m.

Nov. 11: North Warren Volunteer Fire Department Comedy and Dinner Show and cash raffle, doors open, 6 p.m.; show, 8 p.m., at fire hall.

Nov. 12: St. Francis of Assisi Church Pre-Christmas Open House, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., 343 E. Main St., Youngsville, local vendors, unique holiday gifts, hand painted items, homemade quilts; admission is free.

Nov. 12: Non-alcohol Family Turkey Part, Watson Grange Hall, Rt. 337 between Warren and Tidioute, doors open, 6 p.m.; games start, 7 p.m.

Nov. 12: Holiday Craft Show sponsored by Russell Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, more than 30 vendors, silent auction, lunch available, free admission, Russell Fire Hall, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Nov. 12: Warren Concert Association presents "Dallas Brass," classical, swing, Broadway and patriotic music, Struthers Library Theatre, Warren, 7:30 p.m. (723-2348).

Nov. 13: Warren Civic Orchestra Concert, 4 p.m., Struthers Library Theatre. Tickets available at door.

Nov. 15: Warren Public Library Classic Jazz with Chase Putnam, Slater Room, 6-8 p.m.

Nov. 18: YMCA Fun Night for Teens: pizzaball, tournaments, lots of fun, Warren County YMCA.

Nov. 18-20: "The Magician's Nephew" by Praise! Fellowship, Russell, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Nov. 19: Benefit for Aaron Fileger, breakfast at Applebees, Warren Commons, North Warren, 8-10 a.m. (presale tickets only, 730-8498).

Nov. 19: Local children's author Jean Rew reads her book "Cookie Comes Home" and discusses how she became a published author at 11 a.m. in the Warren Public Library's Slater Room. There will also be a door prize, craft and short movies. Preregistration appreciated. Register in the Children's Department or call 723-4650 and leave message for children's librarian.

Nov. 19: Reading, Writing and Understanding Memoir, a self-help seminar with Reginald Darling, Wilder Museum, Irvine, 1-4 p.m. (pre-registration required).

Nov. 19: What's New for the Holidays sponsored by Woman's Club of Warren, 310 Market St., Warren, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday (lunch will be served Saturday).
