Spaghetti dinner
A Benefit Spaghetti Dinner will be held at Hessel Valley Lutheran Church in Chandlers Valley on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. for Lincoln Punch the baby who swallowed the button battery. Six month old Lincoln has recently come home after being in the hospital in Pittsburgh since April. While there he underwent many surgeries on his esophagus and trachea. He still is fed through a feeding tube and will need more surgery on his esophagus. All proceeds of the dinner will benefit Lincoln and his family who want to promote awareness of the danger of tiny batteries found in many children's toys and even clothing, as well as remote controls, thermometers, calculators, bathroom scales, and some greeting cards, etc. More information can be found on youtube under button batteries. The family of Lincoln would like to thank everyone in the community for their continued prayers and wonderful support.
The dinner will consist of spaghetti and meatballs with salad, as well as, homemade bread and desserts. Cost is a donation for Lincoln and his parents Tony and Jenny Punch.
