BROCKWAY - It was another tough night for the Sheffield volleyball team Monday as the Lady Wolverines remained winless on the year after a 3-1 road loss at Brockway.

The Rovers won the first two games of the match, 25-19 and 25-18 before Sheffield rallied to win the third game, 26-24. However, Sheffield's attempt at a rally stopped there as the Rovers dominated game four, closing the match with a 25-8 victory.

Julie Ely has 12 service points, eight aces and three blocks to lead Sheffield and Brandy Rockwell added seven points, two aces and six kills. Hannah Vile chipped in seven points, eight assists and 13 digs, Paige Moldovan had five points and two aces, Justine Barr added 15 digs and Marlea Sprandle finished with four kills.

Sheffield's junior varsity team was downed in three games, 25-21, 15-25, 7-15.

The Wolverines return to action Tuesday, visiting Saint Marys.
