Warren

Warrant service. Warren-based state police served an arrest warrant on Faith Ellen Worster, 32, Warren County Jail, Thursday. Police said they transported Worster to District Justice Lindemuth's office in Youngsville for a Preliminary Arraignment. Justice Lindemuth set bail at $500 and Worster was taken back to the Warren County Jail where she awaits further court action. The warrants originate from charges relative to Bad Check charges.

Parole violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff's Department arrested Shawn d. Little, 43, Pittsfield, Friday on charges of violation of parole. Little was originally placed on parole on the charge of Simple Assault, a misdemeanour 2, was arrested on a Supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Probation violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Brian Scharrer, 22, Pittsfield, Thursday on charges of violation of Probation. Scharrer was originally placed on Intermediate Punishment on a charge of DUI, misdemeanour 1, was arrested on a Supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Prison pending further Court action.

Probation violation. Officer of the Warren county Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff's Department and the Conewango township Police Department, arrested Martin Morse, 52, Russell, Thursday on charges of violation of Probation. Morse was originally placed on Intermediate Punishment on a charge of DUI, modernism 1, was arrested on a Supervisor's Warrant and committed to the Warren County Prison pending further Court action.

Crash. Warren city police responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4:19 p.m. Thursday on Water Street between Market St. and PA Ave. Police said that Georgianne E. Wiedmaier, 87, 17 1/2 Elm St., was driving her '02 Toyota with Mary Lou Wiedmaier, 49, 17 1/2 Elm St., in the passenger seat traveling north after leaving a parked position. Police said Wiedmaier struck an 11 year old boy who was walking and suffered minor injuries.

Crash. Warren city police responded to a two vehicle accident at 1:48 p.m. Monday on Prospect St were it intersects with Madison Ave. Police said that Melvin Murvine, 25, 2936 Brown Hill Rd, Youngsville, was operating his '00 Chevy traveling south in the right hand lane when he made an improper turn and struck the '05 Chevy owned by Kelly Abbey,31, 913 Lincoln Ave. Abbeys' vehicle was traveling west on Madison Ave. when she was struck and then hit a tree. Both vehicle were towed from the scene Murvines' suffered disabling damage and Abbeys' may be undriveable. Neither party was injured. Police did issue a traffic citation to Murvine for failure to comply with Stop Signs.

Warrant service. Warren-based state police served 5 separate warrants on Jeremiah A. Garris, 22, Warren County Jail, Thursday. Police said they served the warrants and then transported Garris to District Justice Lindemuth's office in Youngsville for a Preliminary arraignment. Justice Lindemuth set bail at $10,000 for each warrant totalling $50,000 cash and Garris was taken back to the Warren County Jail where he awaits further court action. The warrants originate from charges relative to 1. Burglary and 17 counts of Theft from motor vehicles in the Old Pittsfield Road area; 2. Burglaries at the PVI (Rt 6), Owl Homes (Rt 6), Allen residence (Abraham Hollow Road); 3. Burglaries at Allegheny Wood Pellet Company (Matthews Run Rd) and TNT's on the Hill (Rt 957); 4. Burglaries at Enterprise United Methodist Church and Hyma Devore Lumber Company (Rt 6); and 5. Cabin in the Pines Bar (Rt 6).
