Mr. and Mrs. Al Dennis recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Their children and grandchildren treated them to a week's vacation at Lake Cossayuna, N.Y., where they also celebrated Al's 80th birthday.
Al and Peggy were married Aug. 5, 1961, in First Lutheran Church of Warren by the late Rev. Frederick B. Haer.
A highlight of their vacation was the renewal of their wedding vows.

They have four children: Deborah (Wendy Hord) Dennis; Gregory (Dusti) Dennis; Ryan Dennis; and Kyle (Dayna) Dennis, and eight grandchildren: Sam Blanchard, Rachel and Matthew Dennis, John and Andrew Pantuso, Leith and Shea Dennis, and Erick Dennis.
Family members attended from Albany, N.Y.; California; Bradford, Ligonier and Philadelphia, Pa.; and Federal Way, Wash.
