Crash. Warren City police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday on Pennsylvania Ave. where it merges with Second Ave. Police said Jeffrey R. Billman, 24 Crestview Blvd., was operating a Barnhart Davis Co.-owned vehicle when he rear-ended a vehicle operated by Mary L. Kramer, 1210 Sechriest St. Both Kramer and Billman were wearing seatbelts, but Kramer suffered minor injuries, police said.
Crash. Warren City police responded to a motorcycle accident at 4:55 p.m. July 24. The rear-end accident happened at the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave and Parker St. Police said Lawerence O. Sitton, 38 Bert East Alton, Ill., rear-ended a vehicle operated by Frederick H. Littleton, 5007 Loop Rd., Dorsey, Ill. Police charged Sitton with failure to drive at a safe speed. Sitton received a minor injury and was not wearing a helmet. Littleton, who was wearing a helmet, was not injured. Both bikes received minor damage.
Crash. Warren City police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Fourth Ave. between Union and Beach streets at 11:41 p.m. on Aug. 25. Police said Michael Connoly, 16 Walnut St., was travelling west on Fourth Ave. when he hit a curb and then a utility pole, causing severe damage to his vehicle. Police said Connoly was wearing his seatbelt and multiple air bags deployed. Connoly received minor injuries, and was cited with reckless driving.
