Watson Township Fall Clean Up

August 20, 2011
The Times Observer

The Watson Township Supervisors have scheduled the Fall Trash Clean Up Day for Saturday, October 1. Residents and camp owners may bring trash to the Watson Township Community Building from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. No propane tanks, batteries, solvents, or hazardous materials will be accepted. Tires will be collected for a fee of $1.50 for passenger size tires and a higher fee for larger sizes. Also, supervisors have been working with property owners regarding township nuisance violations; several owners of the properties are complying. Supervisors are also working with property owners to locate the Rapp Family Cemetery, which is listed with the Warren County Historical Society. No grave stones or markers exist and the township would like to post the area with a commemorative marker in memory of those buried there. Anyone with information regarding the cemetery can contact the township secretary. The next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21.
