Wedding:

Larson-McClellan

July 30, 2011
The Times Observer

Stephanie Diane McClellan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. McClellan Jr., of Warren, became the bride of Toby William Larson, son of Mrs. Sandra L. Larson and the late Newell W. Larson of Youngsville in a lovely double ring ceremony performed at 3 p.m., July 31, 2010, at the Red Brick Gardens, Mayville, N.Y., with Mrs. Barbara Brown officiating.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, made her way through the grass. The gardens lush with floral artistry and the aisle lined with purple gerbera daisies and petals illuminated the ambiance of the ceremony, and Pachelbel's "canon in D" played in the background. She chose a designer Maggie Sottero diamond white over light gold strapless, corset gown with lace over satin and a sweep train, embellished with beading, sequins and pearls. She wore a single layer sheer veil fastened through her princess locks, embellished with pearls. She was adorned with her grandmother's pearl necklace and carried a bouquet of pink, orange, white and purple gerbera daisies.

"Greensleves" by Williams, accompanied the bridesmaids as they made their way down the aisle. Mrs. Kellie Goldthwaite, bride's sister, was matron of honor; Miss Amy McClellan, bride's sister, was maid of honor; Mrs. Miranda Walters, friend of the bride and groom, and Miss Jacquline McClellan, cousin of the bride, were the attendants. All attendants wore an Alfred Angelo strapless sweetheart neckline, tea length, eggplant purple gown with cream trim to match the bride's gown, and carried hand picked bouquets of large purple gerbera daisies. Miss Becca Lindvay, bride's cousin, wore a beautiful matching cream color gown embellished with beading and pearls and daisy cutouts on the back. The string trio (Classic Concepts) played many classical pieces throughout the ceremony.

Mr. Brett Yatzor, long-time friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Mr. Shawn Burkett, Mr. Kurt Walters, and Mr. Matt McKinney, all long-time friends of the groom. The groom wore a black Jean Yves jacket with stand up collar and no buttons, a champagne cream color vest and tie (to match the bride's gown), black suit pants and wing tip shoes. Mr. Liam Smaroff, ringbearer and bride's cousin, matched the groom in attire. The groomsmen wore similar style suits with eggplant purple vest and tie and wing tip shoes. The bride's father wore a traditional black suit with champagne cream color vest and tie. All the men were adorned with white daisies or purple gerbera daisies on their lapels.

Mrs. McClellan selected a sage green gown with glittery beaded top and a corsage of daisies. Mrs. Larson chose a black and white beautiful floral print gown and fashioned with a corsage of daisies.

A reception was held at the Chautauqua Suites ballroom following the ceremony, with Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Lindvay, bride's cousins, as master and mistress of ceremonies. Mr. Mike Lindvay, bride's uncle, performed the blessing before the three-course sit down dinner. The couple and guests enjoyed the popular local band, Trixx, for their entertainment.

The couple honeymooned in Stockholm, Sweden; Paris, France; and Dublin, Ireland. They make their home in Erie, Pa.
