Movie Monday

Monday Night Movies at the Warren Public Library will continue Aug. 1. This event is free of charge and will begin at 6 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. Thanks to donations, complimentary popcorn will be available. This animated PG rated, 107 minute film stars the voices of Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, and Timothy Olyphant. This animated comedy-adventure follows the comical, transformative journey of Rango, a sheltered chameleon living as an ordinary family pet, while facing a major identity crisis. When Rango accidentally winds up in the gritty, gun-slinging town of Dirt, the less-than-courageous lizard suddenly finds he stands out. Welcomed as the last hope the town has been waiting for, new Sheriff Rango is forced to play his new role to the hilt...until, in a blaze of action-packed situations and encounters with outrageous characters, Rango starts to become the hero he once only pretended to be. Call the library at 723-4650 for the exact title of this and other movies in this series as the library's movie license does not permit listing the titles of movies outside the library.
