Motor coach enforcement

Members of five State Police Troops, including Troop E, which covers Crawford, Erie, Venango and Warren Counties, participated in a weeklong effort focused on inspecting motor coaches. Frank E. Noonan, State Police Commissioner, said that although bus travel is one of the safest means of travel, recent tragic crashes have shed light on the need for attention. In addition to other troops' efforts, Troop E conducted five inspections, found one vehicle to be out of service, found one driver to be out of service, filed six citations, and gave four warnings.
