Support Rett
Foundation
The International Rett Syndrome Foundation is in the running in another contest through Chase Community Giving for a chance to win $500,000. Local coordinators are working hard to find support for a cure, including Donna Wright, grandmother of 8-year-old Naomi, who has Rett Syndrome.
"We need to find a cure for Naomi and all of the other Rett girls just like her," Wright said. "Time is of the essence. Rett syndrome doesn't raise its ugly head just during the 'up' times. A girl is born with Rett syndrome every two hours. Please vote and pass this on to everyone you know so they can help us find a cure."
The Chase Community Giving program allows users to vote for charities. Voters will help Chase direct corporate philanthropy dollars to eligible organizations. Round two voting will last only through May 25. This voting competition is hosted solely on Facebook. In order to vote, you must have a Facebook profile and must "like" Chase Community Giving and allow the application to access your profile.
