Postponed

The Mercyhurst Prep at Youngsville boys baseball game originally scheduled for Saturday was postponed. No make-up date has been announced.

Tennis

The Warren tennis team will complete at the Tri-County Tennis Tournament on Monday. The tournament was rained out earlier this season and this will serve as the rain date for the competition.

Stateline

Rain forced the cancelation of the Outlaw Cadet Special sponsored by M.A.C. Truck Parts & Chad's Ring & Pinion. Four of the last five events have succombed to the wet weather. Next week, Budweiser and Arthur R. Gren will sponsor a United E-Mod Series $1,000 to win main event. For more details, visit www.stateline-speedway.com.

Dave Lopez had low gross 40 and Ralph Low had low net of 26 in Cable Hollow Senior Men's Golf League play on Friday. Gary Bailey was the high point taker with nine points and Stan Crouse, Harold Johnson, Ross Cali, Phil Nuhfer, Bill Baglia, Chuck Roberts and Bob Bacchetti had one birdie each. Buerkle and Lopez shared the most pars with six.

Golfers needed

Golfers are needed for the YMCA Nationals Gymnastics Team Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, May 21, at Jackson Valley Golf Club. The event will have a 2 p.m. shotgun start. There is a cost per golfer and teams can register by calling Shawn Williams at 757-4594 by Thursday, May 19. The fee will cover golf, a BBQ chicken dinner and door prizes. All proceeds from the event will go to the YMCA Nationals Gymnastics team to help with the costs of participating in the 2011 Nationals competition scheduled for June in Toledo, Ohio.

Youth soccer

The Kinzua U10 co-ed soccer team defeated Oil City Region, 7-4, on Sunday. Ryon Flatt scored four goals for the winners, Tyler Gustafson added two goals and Sawyer Mohney added one. Tommy Harrington was the winning goalkeeper.
