Robert D. Moore, 76, of Warren, died Wednesday after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born November 20, 1934 in New Centerville to the late John and Arlene Long Moore. He has resided in the Warren area for the past 46 years and was formerly of Niagara Falls and Somerset. Bob was a 1952 graduate of Somerset High School and had served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. He was employed for over 50 years with the Operating Engineers Local Union #66 as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Warren American Legion Post 135. Bob enjoyed listening to Sunday morning Polka Music, model trains and was a avid bird and fish lover.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nancy Wilbur Moore whom he married February 14, 1991 in Warren, 3 Daughters, Barbara "Renee" Lysher, Tracy Madigan, Theresa Moore all of Warren, 1 Stepson Jim Roberts of N. Warren, 1 Stepdaughter Tina Roberts of Mt. Jewett, 2 Sisters Marjorie Ankney and husband, Max, Phyllis Moore all of Somerset, his motherinlaw, Peg Shorts Wilbur of Warren, 11 Grandchildren, 4 GreatGrandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son Robert J. "Jake" Moore, 1 Sister Dorothy Moore, 1 Brother John D. Moore, Jr. Friends may attend a memorial service on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, with Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Warren General Hospital, officiating. Full military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. and the U.S. Airforce Personnel.
