Dam outflow

to be increased

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said a significant increase in outflow from Kinzua Dam is planned for Friday through Sunday, and may cause substantial rises in the river below the dam.

Boaters and anglers are advised to exercise caution during the next two days. The Corps said the opening of the gates will be spaced over several hours so as not to cause sudden rises in river levels.
