Laura Marie McAvoy, daughter of Mark and Alexis McAvoy of Warren, is engaged to be married to Zachery Adam Sturdevant, son of Frank Sturdevant Jr., Clarendon, and Cora Sturdevant and Dwayne Tyler, Warren.
The couple graduated from Sheffield Area Middle-Senior High School, Class of 2007. Laura will graduate from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a degree in hospitality management in May 2011. Zachery completed CNC training at Precision Manufacturing Institute in Meadville and is employed at Ellwood National Forge.
The couple is planning a June 2012 wedding.
