Sheffield busted the most targets in the Warren County Scholastic Trap League's third week on Tuesday, helping the Wolverines to a 161-146 victory over Warren White. It was the second time in three weeks that Sheffield has held the top spot.
Josh Anderson led the Wolverines with a 24 out of 25, while Nathan Kupchella and Drew Lobdell busted 23 targets each for the Dragons.
In other action, Youngsville bested Tidioute Charter, 155-130, and Corry tied with Warren Blue, 156-156. The Eagles' 25-point victory was led by the 23's of Zach Bush, Kyle Rafalski and Sam Lucas. Jacob Moore's 23 was tops to Tidioute.
Warren Blue got a 24 from Scott Saporito and Corry a 24 from Jamie Morton in the tie between the Beavers and Dragons.
Eisenhower shot 151 on its bye week. Ethan Black and Zack Johnson both broke 24 targets apiece for the Knights.
Through three weeks of league competition, Youngsville and Warren White currently share first place in the league with four points each. Two points is given for each victory and one point is given to each team in case of a tie. Corry and Warren Blue shared third-place with three points each, Sheffield and Eisenhower share fifth with two points each and Tidioute is seventh with zero points.
