plans cleanup
A spring clean- up day for Elk Township residents will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the township's maintenance garage.
No oil, paint or liquid hazardous waste, asbestos, concrete, propane tanks, construction, yard waste, TVs or household garbage will be accepted. Pickup truck loads will cost $10; cars and vans, $5; and tires are at an added fee depending on size.

ACS donations
Donations were made to the American Cancer Society in March in memory of Larry Bielawski, Lynette Callan, Joseph Huber, John Lipchik, Prudence Ploss, Sam Sanders, Mary, Ronald and Thomas Shellito; and in honor of the American Cancer Society drivers.
