Warren White edged Warren Blue, 153-151, to open the Warren County Scholastic Trap League on Tuesday.
On its bye week, Sheffield topped every other team in the league with a seven-shooter total of 159. It's the first time since the league's inception that Sheffield topped the six other teams. Elijah Highhouse and Hunter Smith tied for the league's top honor for Sheffield, individually, with a 24 out of 25 each.
Nathan Kupchella and Eric Cecco braved tough weather conditions at Kalbfus Club to shoot 24's for Warren White. Drew Lobdell added a 23 for Warren White. Scott Saporito led Warren Blue with a 24 out of 25 himself.
Defending champion Eisenhower defeated Tidioute Charter, 156-109, and Jon Shelton and Zack Johnson each shot a 24 for Ike. Corry topped Youngsville, 154-135.
