Chinese Auction
The youth of Saron Lutheran Church are sponsoring a Chinese Auction to raise funds for their Christmas gift giving through the Salvation Army. The auction drawing will be held on Sunday, March 27th, followed by a spaghetti dinner at the Saron Lutheran Church from 4:30 to 6 p.m. This dinner is open to the public and the cost is a donation. Saron Lutheran Church prepared for their Chinese Auction, proceeds from the auction will go towards their Salvation Army Christmas gift giving. A 'Free Teen' movie night will be held on Friday, March 25 at 6:30 at the Youngsville Free Methodist Joy Hall, 240 East Main Street. 'To Save a Life' is a life changing movie for all teens. It is a powerful movie dealing with real life situations. Live music by Konnected, Drama Team, 'New Vine' will be entertaining. Snacks, drinks and door prizes will be available. Spring Cleaning
Love INC (In the Name of Christ) of the Brokenstraw Valley will be selling, as their on going fund raiser, 'streakless' cleaning cloths for a donation of $5. They work with just water and clean all sorts of surfaces to a streak free shine. Clean away winter with one of these cloths or give them as gifts. Love INC will be traveling to Michigan in May for their hands on training. This is the second phase of the training required to be a working affiliation. The team is also available to provide presentations about the ministry to your church or organization. 90th Birthday
The family and friends of Peg Crippen are invited to celebrate her 90th birthday.
To include all of you, in the celebration of this milestone, her children are offering a couple of opportunities. On Sunday, April 3, there will be a drop in, meet and greet, to share a piece of cake after all church services at Grace United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, Pa. Peg will be attending Sunday School with her class that morning.
The friends and relatives in Youngsville, Pa and beyond are invited to send notes of greeting and pictures (no gifts) beginning on her actual birthday March 26, 2011.

Biddy Basketball
The Youngsville Biddy Basketball Club recently concluded their first basketball season with a fifth and sixth grade boys' basketball tournament. The results of the tournament are as follows. North Clarion received 1st place, Sugar Grove took 2nd place, and Youngsville was in 3rd place. The Club is thankful to all who participated in the tournament. They would also like to thank everyone who donated or volunteered their time to make this league possible for the elementary children and they look forward to continuing this league next year.
Ice Cream Social
Youngsville Elementary Middle School PTO will host its annual Ice Cream Social/Basket Raffle and Silent Auction on Thursday, March 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the YEMS cafeteria. There will be a short PTO meeting at 5:45 open to all parents. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for the evenings events. Ice Cream Social tickets are $1.00. They will have over 30 Baskets and 10 Silent Auction Items. Tickets will be on sale through out the evening in the gym. Winners will be drawn at 7:30 pm. This event is open to the public.
