Dave and Lynn Smith of Warren wish to announce the engagement of their son, Derek Smith, to Shana Mollick, both of Erie. Shana is the daughter of Pamela Schork and Steven Mollick, both of Ashtabula, Ohio.
They are both graduates of Edinboro University.
A May 8 wedding is being planned in Erie.
