Cookie booth sales
Members of the Tidioute Girl Scouts Daisy unit will be at Buccardo's Restaurant on Friday, March 11, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. selling extra boxes of cookies.
On Saturday, March 12, the Brownies will be at Polly's ShurSave Market from 11 a.m. to noon. with those extra boxes of cookies for sale.
PSCFT Bingo
There will be Bingo on Sunday, March 13, at Buccardo's Restaurant starting at 4 p.m.
Proceeds benefit Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament.
Salvation Army Camp
Registration was held on Saturday at Buccardo's Restaurant and if you missed this sign up please contact Jeri Higgins at 484-2271 for an information packet.
Cost is $10 per child.
Sponsors are being sought to help with this $10 fee. If you are interested in sponsoring a child please contact Higgins or Linda Scott at 484-7525.
Health Fair
Tidioute Annual Health Fair will be held on Saturday, March 26 at the Tidioute Firehall from 7 a.m. till 12 noon.
Comprehensive Blood Testing, Free Screenings, Informational Interactive displays.
Comprehensive Blood Tests includes testing for Heart Disease, Kidney Disease, Diabetes, Thyroid Function, Anemia, and Liver Disease.
Cost for the blood test is $40, which includes a light breakfast. Men have the option of a prostate cancer testing for a additional $17.

Parade theme
This year the Pennsylvania State Championship fishing Tournament Parade will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24.
With a theme of "American Historical Moments".
Gather your friends and co-workers and start to think about a float for the parade.

Additional doctor
Tidioute Area Health and Dental Center welcomes Dr. Jay Endres, family practitioner, to the team.
Dr. Endres is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has already began providing care for the whole family on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Tidioute Health and Dental Center.
Dr. Denlinger will be seeing patients on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. till noon.

Dental services
Dental Services for the Tidioute Health and Dental Center are provided by Dr. Jon Lundquist.
He is available to see any members of the family on Fridays from 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Ted Rockwell is still seeing patients on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and every other Saturday.
A dental hygienist will be in the office on Wednesdays.

Medical Center meeting
Members of the board and two committee members were present for a meeting with Karen Coombs and Skip Marsh of Warren General Hospital along with George Lilji, Corporate Director of Practice Management for Warren General Hospital.
Board members aired their issues as did the hospital and the glitches are being worked out.
Hospital personnel are interviewing Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and will have other professional staff on hand to meet the needs of the community.
Discussion on the pricing will be checked into by the hospital as well as the days of coverage.

SWCMA vacancy
SWCMA board still has a vacancy on their board which meets the second Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Tidioute Towers in the Community Room.
The only requirement is that you be a customer of the of the water authority and willing to volunteer approximately one hour once a month for a meeting.
School calendar
Due to school cancellations a revised school calendar has been posted.
School will now be in session on Wednesday, April 20, Thursday, April 21 and Friday, May 27.
Please make a note of these dates.
PSSA testing
The math and reading portion of the PSSA''s will be given the week of March 14 for grades three through grade eight and for grade eleven.
Writing portion of the test will be given the week of March 28 for grades five, eight and eleven.
Science portion will be the week of April fourth for grades four, eight and eleven.
Water and snacks will be provided to students during testing.
Skating party
A skating party is set for Tidioute Community Charter School at "The Rink" in Titusville on Thursday, March 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Thanks to a donation from the VFW Post 8803, round trip bus service will be available on a first come first serve basis to take interested students, parents and community members to the skating party.
The bus will leave Tidioute School at approximately 5:45 p.m. and return to Tidioute at approximately 9 p.m.
There is no cost to ride the bus.
Students must have a signed note from the parent or guardian if students are to ride home with someone else and not take the bus.
Cost of skating is $2.50 per person, $6 per family and $1.50 per skate rental.
Lost and found
Parents of students at Tidioute Community Charter School are being asked to check the 'Lost and Found" and claim your child's clothing.
Tournament winners
Tidioute Community Charter School Elementary Girls basketball team won second place at the West Forest Basketball Tournament.
Also, the elementary Boys Basketball team at Tidioute Community Charter School took second place at the Tournament held at West Forest.
T-Shirt sales
Tidioute Prom committee members are selling t-shirts for Earth Day.
There are a variety of designs and they are $10 each.

Food Bank
There will be a Second Harvest Food Bank in Tidioute on Saturday, March 26, at the Tidioute Firehall starting at 10 a.m.
Easter stocking
Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament committee members are selling chances on a six-foot Easter stocking filled with a large assortment of games.
Tickets are $1 each and are on sale at Polly's ShurSave Market and from committee members.
Drawing will be held at the Easter Egg Hunt set for Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. at the Tippy Ballfield.
