Angela Rose Mitchell has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2010 semester in the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh. Mitchell is a second-year student in the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon. She is a 2009 graduate of Warren Area High School, and is the daughter of Rose Mazzocchi of Warren, and Mark and Lynn Mitchell of Akron, Ohio.

Harshal Patel of Clarendon, a sophomore studying business and finance at Penn State Behrend, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2010 semester with a 3.75 grade average. Patel is the son of Prakash and Ela Patel and a 2009 graduate of Sheffield Area High School.

Sara Selan graduated summa cum laude in December from the Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a minor in business administration. At IUP, Selan was a member of student government, served on the board of directors of the co-op and works as both a resident assistant and head resident assistant for the Office of Housing and Residence Life. Selan has been awarded a graduate assistantship and began studies for her master's degree in employment and labor relations at IUP in January. She is a 2007 graduate of Eisenhower High School and is the daughter of Steven and Debra Selan of Russell.

Several local University of Pittsburgh at Bradford students have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2010 semester. Dean's list status is awarded to full-time students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Those earning a grade point average of 4.0 were Michael Buchanan, a computer information systems and technology major, and Elizabeth Tipton, a social studies education 7-12 major, seniors, both from Warren.
