Warren County Christian School's boys basketball season ended its season at 8-11 overall after a 60-31 loss Monday to Olean New Life Christian - with key players out due to injury.
But that was after a big junior varsity double-overtime win in the final seconds that added some motivation for next season. Eric Sorenson made sure of that with a game-winning bucket.
WCCS graduates one senior from the program - Chris Root, and comes back with experience players had to gain when leading scorer Andrew Hammersley was lost for the season.
Carson Moore led WCCS in the varsity loss with 12 rebounds, despite the Lions being dominated on the boards by Olean's two leading scorers.
