Edinboro University's musical theatre club, Company, presents "Honk! The Ugly Duckling: A Musical Tale," on Feb. 18 and 19, in Louis C. Cole Auditorium, Memorial Hall, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening.
This Olivier Award-winning musical based on the children's story, will amuse and inspire you as the Ugly Duckling suffers the bullying of his siblings and local residents, avoids the predatory Cat and, in the end, reigns triumphant.
The play is directed by Haley Comodor of McDonald; and Haley Nowoczynski of Erie. Cast members include Britanny Barnabei of Beaver; Katy Lauffenburger of Warren; Jeremy Miller of Lancaster; and David Lynn of Moon Township. Company is advised by Dr. Kathleen Golden, professor, Communication and Media Studies.
Admission to this event is free and open to the public. There will be a meet and greet with cast members for the children in the audience immediately following each performance.
