A nice way to end it.
Tidioute Charter's girls basketball team entered its season finale at 1-17 overall, but finished the season 1-0 with a 34-26 victory over visiting Erie First Christian at Tidioute Community Charter School.
"It was Senior Night, they had the crowd behind them; it was a good night," said TCCS coach Craig Parrett.
In what he called an up-and-down game, Tidioute trailed 5-4 after one quarter, but scored 18 points in the second quarter and never trailed again.
Parrett has six seniors and started five. Alexis Morrison and Cassie York, both seniors, combined for 24 points. Another senior, Hayley Moore had 12 rebounds. Junior Loralee Lindemuth and York each had 15 rebounds for the hosts.
