Jack-In-The-Box Players bring Margery Williams' cherished children's classic, "The Velveteen Rabbit," to the historic Struthers Library Theatre stage March 4, 5, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. and March 6 and 12 at 2 p.m.
Lonely, forgotten, and teased by the other toys in the toy box, the Velveteen Rabbit longs to become "real." One night, Nana tucks the Velveteen Rabbit into bed with the Boy and a lasting love begins; a love that sees the Boy safely through Scarlet Fever. A love that makes the Velveteen Rabbit's dream come true.
