A Warren man was pronounced dead following a one-vehicle accident on National Forge Road on Monday afternoon.
According to Warren-based state police, Larry Watson, 70, of Warren was eastbound in a 1996 Honda Civic on National Forge Road when he allegedly failed to negotiate a curve on the roadway.
Police said Watson's vehicle reportedly traveled 86 feet off the north side of the roadway, struck a tree and rolled onto its roof. Emergency responders declared Watson deceased upon arrival.

A car involved in a traffic accident Monday afternoon rests on its roof off of National Forge Road in Irvine.
Police said in their report that "It is believed that the operator (Watson) was deceased prior to the crash."
Assisting at the scene were Youngsville volunteer firefighters and Advanced Life Support personnel.
