ERIE - Warren struggled offensively in a Region 7 rematch at Erie East.
The Dragons fell to East, 65-35, on Thursday after losing 65-60 in the earlier meeting at home.
"Defensively, in the first half, we only gave up 28 points, and I would say half of those were easy hoops in transition because we struggled to get back on defense," said Warren coach Jeff Berdine. "We didn't shoot the ball well and shooting is contagious... We have to fight our way through it."
Warren (9-6 overall and 2-6 in Region 7) was 4-for-24 shooting from the field in the first half, and trailed East 28-11 at halftime. The Dragons were 2-for-22 from 3-point range for the entire game.
Defending region champ East remains in first place in Region 7 at 8-0.

WCCS 62, Community Country Day 61
Carson Moore's free throw with 10 seconds remaining lifted the Warren County Christian School to its fourth victory of the season during a 62-61 win over Community Country Day Thursday at WCCS.
"Our assists and our shooting made all the difference tonight," said WCCS coach Steve Zwald. "We had our best shooting night of the year in every category and limited ourselves to just 10 turnovers."
Both teams were on fire as the contest got underway, combining for 43 points in the opening quarter. By halftime, the Lions had erased an early five-point deficit and tied things up at 37-37.
The second half was played as equally as the first and with time running down, the two clubs were knotted at 61-61. With 10 seconds left on the clock, Moore drew a shooting foul and was rewarded with two free throws. He made one of two and watched as Country Day's desperation shot at the buzzer hit the back of the iron and fell to the floor.
Andrew Hammersley nearly had a triple-double. He finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three blocks. Moore finished with 19 points, a team high. Also providing a strong game for WCCS was Andrew Laird who returned from injury and scored 11 points. WCCS (4-5) hosts French Creek Valley Christian on Friday.
